Request the first-floor rooms if noise is a concern. They may have less disturbance from other guests.

Fresh made and adequate breakfasts with bacon and sausage, for instance. Good sleep in a nice bed, brand-new and spotless room. Good setting, right oof the highway...

Here's what worked, and what didn't
Breakfast options were excellent, with fresh choices regularly replenished. The indoor pool offered a pleasant escape, and the staff consistently maintained a cordial atmosphere.
Despite the positives, cleanliness issues in rooms were concerning, including hairs on bedding and unsatisfactory bathroom hygiene. Maintenance needs attention, particularly regarding faulty appliances and noisy environments.

That you couldn't have drink by the pool is not glass but plastic cup or aluminum can should be allowed

I enjoyed that it was very well within a few minutes of major attractions as well as other towns with shops, restaurants, etc. It was also within walking distance of a KFC/Taco Bell and a decent buffet. Speaking of food, the complimentary breakfast was phenomenal. Way better than what I am used to at other hotels! Also, Bethany and the manager were very polite and everything was clean, comfortable, and accommodating. I would definitely stay there again. Altogether, I do not think I over payed for the quality of stay that I had, however, I would not have minded if it was a little cheaper!
I try not to be very picky, but there were a few inconveniences that made my stay a little upsetting. Firstly, I was not aware that when I opted to pay cash, I had to have the money in my account for the room to be booked. They managed to figure it all out but I still would have liked to know ahead of time! Secondly, my non-smoking room smelled like it had previously been smoked in. Every time we entered the room it wreaked of stale cigarette. I didn't mention it because I didn't want to be a bother, but it was a little unnerving. Thirdly, the amount of shampoo given versus what other hotels usually give was very low. One mini-mini bottle of shampoo was very much stretched between two people for two days. Lastly, apparently there was construction in the room directly above mine. It went on all day which made it hard to sleep in or hang out in the room and spend time relaxing. All I could hear were power tools amongst other noisy work-related sounds.

I had a lovely stay with my family, enjoying the comfy queen beds and relaxing by the pool. The place had a great vibe, and the fire pit was perfect for unwinding in the evening. Just a heads up, the water pressure in the shower could be better, but it didn't really take away from our fun 😊

The hotel was in an unbeatable location close to Starved Rock and other local points of interest as well as shops and restaurants, the Desert and hiking at Starved Rock Park. The breakfast was very good, though I didn't expect to enjoy it!

The welcome at the front desk could've been a little warmer, but overall I was very impressed with this hotel. It's very close to Starved Rock and easy to access from the highway. The pool and spa were so great after a day of hiking, and we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the breakfast.
The breakfast room was a bit small and crowded, and there was not enough room for everyone who wanted to sit down and eat.

The Best Western provided a comfortable business stay with clean rooms and attentive staff. The location is quiet, awesome for good rest after a long day of work. I appreciated the well-maintained pool area with a nice way to unwind in the evening. The convenient access to local dining options made it easy to find meals without straying far from the hotel.
The breakfast options were somewhat limited and could use improvement.

No juices at the second breakfast. I told the desk clerk and she told me they were out of juice. I was there at 7am. I drank water with my breakfast.

It was nice to relax in their hot tub after a day of hiking at Starved Rock Park. The desk clerk gave us a great recommendation for a place to eat dinner.
Noticed a little bit of mold in the shower - it was along the top of the shower tile.
